The Family Resemblance

I took a picture of my baby girl the other day - wearing her sunglasses.  When I looked at the picture it reminded me so much of a similar picture of her brother, that I knew I had to scrap them together.  People have told me that they look like twins in their baby pictures.  They do have very similar features and expressions.

Kaylee's Easter Picture

This is another layout for the "Kaylee book" This is her first Easter; she was 2 months old. Isn't she a doll? she was so good all day and looked so beautiful in her Easter dress.

My Hero

This is my husband... the most wonderful man in the world.  The photo was taken while he was in training before he went to Iraq this past summer.  Good news though,  he WILL be home very soon

I am making a "Kaylee's First Year" 8x8 album for the grandparents just like I did for Tyler's first year.  I just started and I have a title page for the album.  I may have to go back & adjust the color of the lettering.  I'm not sure if I am satisfied with it.....  but here is what I have for now.

Bath Time!!!

I am finally catching up on my daughter's baby book..... ( yeah she's almost 1 - I know I am a procrastinator).  I had these cute stickers for the Bath page - so I finished it last night.  Ok, well, not FINISHED it... the layout is done but wouldn't ya know - I can't find the pictures!!!!  I know I have them somewhere on the computer or on a disc.... its just a matter of rooting through all the pictures and reprinting them!  So here is what I have so far!

Sledding!!

My three year old, Tyler, wanted to try sledding this year when we went up to Ohio.  So we bought him a saucer sled and took him to my grandfather's house and let him sled down the little hill in the back yard.  The snow had a little ice layer on top so he was going pretty fast & nearly ended up smashing into the fence at the back of the yard... but not quite! 

The second time we went sledding it was just after a fresh snow... so he didn't travel as far.  But he kept trying!  This time though, he had a little trouble staying on the sled.  It was cold & slippery & he spent more time on the ground in the snow than actually riding the sled.  But he had fun & we have these wonderful memories.

I have been scrapbooking for about three years now, and have been inspired by many others.  I like to try sketches that others have made, so I thought I would try to make some sketches of my own.  This is my first attempt at a layout sketch/model.
